L'ASSOCIAZIONE
ll Giardino Segreto nasce nel 2015, come associazione no-profit, per aiutare gli orfani per femminicidio della mamma. L’esperienza di questi lunghi anni ci racconta di figli ai quali viene uccisa la madre, quasi sempre dal padre e talvolta davanti ai loro occhi, un’esperienza che lascia segni profondi e rompe il legame di fiducia con le figure che dovrebbero proteggerle. La mamma non c’è più, il padre suicida o in carcere. Noi ci prendiamo cura di loro. Con la nostra esperienza fatta di conoscenze, competenze e soprattutto di molta sensibilità ed empatia.

2010
Abbiamo partecipato al Docufilm Un altro domani del Regista Silvio Soldini, prodotto da Cristiana Mainardi, distribuito nelle sale nel Maggio 2023. Questa esperienza ha permesso alla nostra associazione di partecipare a varie presentazioni in giro per l’Italia con lo stesso regista e la produttrice, contribuendo ad accrescere la nostra notorietà. La realizzazione di questo lungometraggio si è svolta con la partecipazione fattiva a titolo gratuito non solo al film stesso ma anche alla sua promozione. Oltre al successo ottenuto tra Roma e Milano siamo riusciti ad avviare un dialogo con altre città della penisola, tra cui Cagliari, dove abbiamo incontrato Anna Maria Busia, avvocatessa madre della legge 4/2018, grazie alla quale è stato possibile costituire una importante rete territoriale, con l’idea di aprire anche in Sardegna una sede de Il Giardino segreto.
